Dear Round the Rock friends,
It's Back to School time and I know many of you are looking for ways to give back to our school communities. I hope you will consider joining us tonight (Aug 15) as we try to collect as much food as we can for the BackPack Coalition, Round Rock - they send meals home to RRISD kids who don't have food for the weekend - almost 800 kids a week in 19 different schools in Round Rock!
Hat Creek Burger Co. is hosting the event and will be providing 1/2-price adult & kid burgers starting at 6. We will have lots of fun LOCAL PRIZES to give out for all attendees too! (Gift cards to The Yogurt Experience, Mellow Mushroom, URBAN eat.drink, Love Barre, Lularoe Laura Johnson, Round Rock Express and more!).Bring your $5 for our $5 CHALLENGE!!! Did you know that it costs only $5 to send home 5 meals for one child for the weekend in the BackPack Coalition program?? Tonight we will be collecting as many $5 donations as we can to help start the school year off! Bring your $5s, $10s and $20s to help fill our fishbowl up!
